Fuel Up to Play 60

The United Dairy Industry of Michigan, the National Dairy Council, the United States Department of Agriculture have huddled up with the National Football League to help America's students eat right and stay active with Fuel Up to Play 60. This comprehensive program focuses on empowering students to make smart choices about their nutrition and physical activity before, during and after school. As part of this initiative, we're offering your school a new 2009-10 FREE Fuel Up to Play 60 Wellness Activation Kit. For more information on Fuel Up to Play and to order a free Wellness Kit, schools should visit: www.fueluptoplay60.com. The kit targets grades 4-10 and includes display materials and wellness-based activities that inspire kids to “get up and play” for 60 minutes a day and to “fuel up” with the food groups kids don't get enough of—low-fat and fat-free dairy foods, fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
